Day 1, Guatemala City,
Flight according to the itinerary. Meet and greet at the Guatemala City airport. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 2, Esquipulas - Rio Dulce,

Breakfast. Sightseeing in Guatemala City: Old Town, Cathedral. Tour of one of Latin America’s most important pilgrimage sites, the Shrine of the Black Christ in Esquipulas. Ride to Rio Dulce for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Rio Dulce – Flores,

After breakfast enjoy boat cruise on the Rio Dulce River and Lake Izabal. Drive to the department of Petén in northern Guatemala. Dinner and overnight stay in area of the island of Flores.

Day 4. Tikal – Flores, 

Breakfast. Tour of the continent’s tallest pyramids in the jungle-hidden Mayan city of Tikal: the Acropolis, the Plaza of the Seven Temples, the Temple of the Inscriptions, and the Great Pyramid. Dinner. Overnight in Flores area. 

Day 5, Tikal - Panajachel,

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Flores and fly to Guatemala City. Ride a scenic road among mayan villages to one of the most traditional Mayan areas of Guatemala, Panajachel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6, Chichicastenango – Panajachel, 

Breakfast. Visit to a church and the authentic Mayan market in Chichicastenango, which still preserves ancient traditions. Return to the hotel near the Lake Atitlan. Relax, dinner and overnight stay in Panajachel.

Day 7, Atitlán – Antigua, 

Breakfast. Transfer to the marina on Lake Atitlán. Boat tour of the lake, surrounded by volcanoes and considered the cradle of the Maya. Tour of the native village of Santiago de Atitlán. Transfer to Antigua, the historic capital of Guatemala and considered one of the most beautiful cities in Central America. Dinner and overnight stay in Antigua.

Day 8, Antigua,

Breakfast. Tour of Antigua’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Palace of the Captains General, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo, and the Jade Museum. After lunch, visit the Chocolate Museum and free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Antigua.

Day 9, Antigua,

Breakfast. Tour of native Mayan villages around Antigua with their textile, pottery and medicine traditions kept: San Juan Laguna and San Antonio Palopo. After lunch, visit the Coffee House, surrounded by tropical crops, and enjoy a Guatemalan coffee tasting. Time for shopping and leisure. Dinner and overnight in Antigua.

Day 10, Antigua - flight out, 

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Guatemala City and departure according to the flights schedule.
