Day 1, Arrival in Mexico City - Basilica of Guadalupe,

Welcome at the Mexico City airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica if permitted by the arrival schedule. Welcome dinner. Overnight stay. 

Day 2, Mexico City’s Historic Center – Basilica of Guadalupe,

Breakfast. Walk Mexico City’s Historic Center: Alameda Park, Madero Street, Zócalo Square, and the Cathedral. In the afternoon visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Patio of the Americas, Temple of the Spring, Sanctuary Gardens with “Offering” sculpture, a symbol of unity of two cultures, Native American and Catholic Spanish. Free time to ascent to the Hill of Apparitions, with a panoramic view of the Shrine and the capital city of Mexico, Dinner. Return to the hotel. For those interested, a Mexican evening with a folkloric show (+95 USD). Overnight stay in Mexico City.

Day 3. Three Cultures Plaza – Teotihuacan Pyramids - Puebla, 

Breakfast. Visit Plaza of the Three Cultures and Santiago de Tlatelolco Church where Saint Juan Diego—to whom Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared—was baptized. Drive north Mexico City and tour the “City of the Gods,” Teotihuacan: the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead. Dinner at the pyramids. Drive along a scenic route to Puebla, the “City of Angels” for overnight.

Day 4, Puebla – Cholula - Tonantzintla - Taxco, 

Breakfast. Tour the UNESCO - listed Historic District, the Cathedral, and the Santo Domingo Church with the Rosary Chapel, known as the world’s eighth wonder. On the way to Cholula visit the famous Indian Baroque church in Tonantzintla, where filigree sculptures of cherubs adorned with plumes, bursting with colors, flowers, and fruits, blend together in one of the most magnificent examples of folk religious art. Dinner. Drive to the magical city of Taxco for overnight at a former colonial mission, situated in a panoramic location.

Day 5, Taxco – Silver Mine - Acapulco All Inclusive, 

Breakfast. Visit to the only silver mine on the continent dating back to pre-Columbian times. Tour the “silver city” of Taxco, famous worldwide for its jewelry craftsmanship with a unique baroque Church of St. Priscilla and St. Sebastian, Dinner and free time to enjoy viewpoints and Zócalo unique atmosphere. Drive to the “Pearl of the Pacific”—Acapulco. Check-in at a resort with direct beach access, with all-inclusive package.

Day 6, Acapulco All Inclusive, 

Breakfast. Lunch. All-inclusive relaxation and free time on the beaches of Acapulco. In the afternoon, an optional visit to San Diego Fortress Museum and cruise on Acapulco Bay to watch spectacular high-dive jumps from the cliffs of La Quebrada (+100 USD). Dinner and overnight in Acapulco.

Day 7, Acapulco All Inclusive - Cuernavaca - Mx City, 

Breakfast. All-inclusive relaxation and free time on Acapulco’s beaches. In the afternoon drive from Acapulco via a scenic route to Cuernavaca for XVIth century Cathedral, Zocalo sightseeing and dinner. Return to hotel in Mexico City for overnight.

Day 8, 12 of December Our Lady of Guadalupe Festivities, 

Breakfast. Attend the Basilica of Guadalupe solemn Mass marking the anniversary (1531) of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Pilgrims form all around the world and indians in traditional attire pay homage to the Virgen Morena during a grand fiesta in the sanctuary square. In the afternoon, ride colorful boats to the rhythm of mariachi and marimba music through the gardens of Xochimilco. Lunch on the boats. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Mexico City.

Day 9, Acapulco – Basilica of Guadalupe, 

Breakfast. Farewell visit to Basilica de Guadalupe. Free time for shopping and having souvenirs blessed. Drive to Mexico City airport for the departure flight.
