Day 1, Arrival in Mexico City - Basilica of Guadalupe,

Welcome at the Mexico City airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica if permitted by the arrival schedule. Welcome dinner. Overnight stay. 

Day 2, Mexico City’s Historic Center – Basilica of Guadalupe,

Breakfast. Walk Mexico City’s Historic Center: Alameda Park, Madero Street, Zócalo Square, and the Cathedral. In the afternoon visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Patio of the Americas, Temple of the Spring, Sanctuary Gardens with “Offering” sculpture, a symbol of unity of two cultures, Native American and Catholic Spanish. Free time to ascent to the Hill of Apparitions, with a panoramic view of the Shrine and the capital city of Mexico, Dinner. Return to the hotel. For those interested, a Mexican evening with a folkloric show (+95 USD). Overnight stay in Mexico City.

Day 3. Plaza of the Three Cultures – Pyramids of Teotihuacan, 

Breakfast. Visit to the Plaza of the Three Cultures and Santiago de Tlatelolco Church where the Native American Juan Diego—to whom Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared—was baptized. Drive north from Mexico City and tour the “City of the Gods,” Teotihuacan: the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead. Dinner at the pyramids. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mexico City. For those interested, a Mexican evening with a folkloric show (+95 USD).

Day 4, Mérida – Uxmal, 

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to the Yucatán Peninsula. Tour of Uxmal: the Temple of the Magician, the Nun’s Patio, and the Great Pyramid. Lunch. Tour of a cacao plantation and the chocolate museum, combined with a fresh cacao tasting. Overnight stay near the colonial historic centre in Mérida.

Day 5, Mérida –  Celestún Flamingos Reserve, 

Breakfast. Sightseeing in Mérida—the colonial pearl of Yucatán, the capital of sisal and cochineal: the UNESCO-listed historic center, the Zócalo, the Cathedral, and the Governor’s Palace. In the afternoon, a boat cruise on the lagoon in the Celestún flamingo and waterfowl reserve. Dinner on the beach at sunset. Return to Mérida and overnight stay.

Day 6, Izamal – Chichén Itzá – Ikkil – Cancún/Riviera Maya,

Breakfast. Visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of Yucatán in Izamal. Tour of Chichén Itzá, the capital of the New Maya Empire and designated in 2007 as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: the Ball Court, the Wall of Skulls, the Platform of the Eagles and Jaguars, the Temple of the Warriors, and the Temple of Kukulkan. Lunch and free time for swimming in the Ikkil cenote. Transfer and check-in at an “all-inclusive” resort with direct beach access in Cancún/Riviera Maya. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7, Cancun/Riviera Maya All Inclusive,

All-inclusive relaxation on the Caribbean beaches. For those interested—an optional afternoon excursion to Tulum. Overnight in Cancun/ Riviera Maya. 

Day 8, Cancun/Riviera Maya All Inclusive,

All-inclusive relaxation on the Caribbean beaches. For those interested—an optional excursion: a cruise to Isla de las Mujeres. Overnight in Cancun/ Riviera Maya.

Day 9, Cancun - Departure from Mexico,

The last moments of an all-inclusive stay on the Caribbean beaches. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport according to the flight schedule and departure from Mexico.
