Day 1, Flight to Cancun,

Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Cancun. Check-in at a hotel with direct beach access, including an all-inclusive package. Rest after the trip. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2, Izamal – Mérida, 

Breakfast. All-inclusive relaxation and free time on the beaches of Cancún. After lunch, drive across the Yucatán Peninsula to the magical town of Izamal. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Yucatán and the John Paul II Museum, followed by free time. Transfer to Merida, the capital of Yucatan, for the night. Overnight stay.

Day 3, Uxmal – Pomuch – Palenque, 

Breakfast. Walk through the historic center of the Yucatan capital: the cathedral, the Governor’s Palace. Tour of the ancient city of Uxmal: the Nun’s Courtyard, the Ball Court, the Great Temple. Visit to a cacao plantation and tasting of freshly brewed chocolate. Lunch featuring local delicacies prepared in an earth oven. Visit to the cemetery in Pomuch, famous for its burial traditions. Transfer to Palenque. Overnight stay.

Day 4, Palenque – Agua Azul – San Cristóbal de las Casas, 

Breakfast. The magic of the pre-Hispanic city of Palenque—a tour of the structures of the capital of the Ancient Maya Empire, lost in the tropical jungle. A walk through the unexplored part of Palenque with a native Maya guide, who, while telling us about the plants and animals living in the jungle, will lead us to the Forgotten Temple (Templo Olvidado). A tour of the Temple of the Inscriptions, the Palace of the Leafy Cross, and the Queen’s Baths. Drive to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Lunch en route at the Agua Azul waterfalls. Overnight stay.

Day 5, The Chamula and Zinacantán Mayan Towns – Sumidero Canyon,

Breakfast. Tour of San Cristóbal, the cultural capital of the state of Chiapas: the historic district, the cathedral, and Santo Domingo. Tour of the magical Mayan villages of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán. Visit to a Tzotzil family’s home. Drive to Chiapa de Corzo and a motorboat cruise on the river amid the dramatic scenery of Sumidero Canyon. Lunch. Transfer to Tehuantepec for overnight.

Day 6, Cuilapam – Tule – Oaxaca,

Breakfast. Transfer to the state of Oaxaca. Tour of a distillery producing the famous Mexican agave-based drink with a worm—mezcal. Lunch. Drive through the Mixtec village of Cuilapam, with the ruins of a Dominican monastery, and a stop at Mexico’s largest tree: the Árbol de Tule. Overnight stay in Oaxaca.

Day 7, Oaxaca – Monte Albán – Puebla,

Breakfast. Tour of Monte Albán, the pre-Hispanic Zapotec capital, the “City of Dawn,” situated on a flat-topped hill. Tour of the city of Oaxaca: the cathedral, Santo Domingo, and the historic district. Lunch. In the afternoon, drive along a scenic route past volcanoes to the city of Puebla. Overnight stay in Puebla’s historic district.

Day 8, Puebla – Teotihuacan – Mexico City, 

Breakfast. Sightseeing in Puebla: the historic district, the cathedral, and the Church of Santo Domingo, including the Rosary Chapel, considered the eighth wonder of the world. Drive to and tour of the largest pyramids in the Americas, Teotihuacan: the Temple of the Feathered Butterfly, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead, Pyramid of the Sun. Pulque and tequila tasting. Dinner. Overnight stay in Mexico City.

Day 9, Plaza of the Three Cultures - Our Lady of Guadalupe – Historic Centre,

Breakfast. Short visit to the Plaza of the Three Cultures. Continue to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Patio of the Americas, Temple of the Spring, Sanctuary Gardens with “Offering” sculpture, a symbol of unity of two cultures, Native American and Catholic Spanish. Free time to ascent to the Hill of Apparitions, with a panoramic view of the Shrine and the capital city of Mexico. In the afternoon have free time at Mexico City’s Historic Center and Zócalo Square. Dinner. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mexico City.

Day 10, Mexico City – Guadalupe,

Breakfast. Farewell visit to Basilica de Guadalupe. Free time for shopping and having souvenirs blessed. Drive to Mexico City airport for the departure according to flight schedule.
