Day 1, Arrival in Mexico City - Basilica of Guadalupe,

Welcome at the Mexico City airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit Our Lady of Guadalupe Basilica if permitted by the arrival schedule. Welcome dinner. Overnight stay. 

Day 2, Mexico City’s Historic Center – Basilica of Guadalupe,

Breakfast. Walk Mexico City’s Historic Center: Alameda Park, Madero Street, Zócalo Square, and the Cathedral. In the afternoon visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe: Patio of the Americas, Temple of the Spring, Sanctuary Gardens with “Offering” sculpture, a symbol of unity of two cultures, Native American and Catholic Spanish. Free time to ascent to the Hill of Apparitions, with a panoramic view of the Shrine and the capital city of Mexico, Dinner. Return to the hotel. For those interested, a Mexican evening with a folkloric show (+95 USD). Overnight stay in Mexico City.

Day 3. Plaza of the Three Cultures – Pyramids of Teotihuacan, 

Breakfast. Visit to the Plaza of the Three Cultures and Santiago de Tlatelolco Church where the Native American Juan Diego—to whom Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared—was baptized. Drive north from Mexico City and tour the “City of the Gods,” Teotihuacan: the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead. Dinner at the pyramids. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mexico City. For those interested, a Mexican evening with a folkloric show (+95 USD).

Day 4, Anthropological Museum – Morelia, 

Breakfast. Sightseeing in Mexico City, including a visit to the Anthropological Museum, home to the most important collections from pre-Hispanic times. In the afternoon drive along a scenic route to the northwest of Mexico City. Overnight stay in Morelia/Zamora.

Day 5, Sahuayo – Guadalajara,

Breakfast. Transfer to Sahuayo, the birthplace of José Sánchez del Río, a 14-year-old saint who gave his life for his faith during the Cristero War. Known as the “little saint” he was buried in his hometown in a grave after refusing to renounce his devotion to Christ. His final cry, “Viva Cristo Rey,” continues to resonate with pilgrims from around the world. Visit to the relics of St. José at the Church of St. James the Apostle in Sahuayo. Visit to the cemetery. Lunch. Transfer to Guadalajara for overnight.

Day 6, Lagos – Cristeros Trail – Guadalajara, 

Breakfast. Tour of Guadalajara’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the Cathedral and the artists’ district of Tlaquepaque. Drive along the Cristeros Trail to San Juan de los Lagos. Visit to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lagos, the second most visited shrine in Mexico after Guadalupe. Return to Guadalajara. Dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 7, Tequila - Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive,

Breakfast. Drive a spectacular Sierra Madre highway to Puerto Vallarta. On the way, stop in Tequila town, the place where the legend was born. Visit agave plantation, learn the traditional way of elaborating the most famous of Mexican spirits and taste some of its best brands directly with the producers.  Check-in at an “all-inclusive” resort with direct beach access in Puerto Vallarta. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8, Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive,

All-inclusive relaxation on the Pacific Coast beaches. Overnight in Puerto Vallarta Resort. 

Day 9, Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive - Departure from Mexico,

The last moments of an all-inclusive stay on the Pacific coast beaches. Transfer to the airport according to the flight schedule and departure from Mexico.
